RAC Mission

The Restaurant Advisory Council provides a representative voice for owners and operators of Independent Restaurants and serves as a bridge between DoorDash and the broader restaurant community. The Council advises on key initiatives and provides critical feedback so we may build deeper partnerships to help restaurants grow.

RAC Structure and Meeting Cadence

The RAC is composed of 12 local restaurant owners and operators. The RAC will meet monthly on the 4th Thursday of every month.

Frequently asked questions

All Restaurants who have at least 1 location live as a Partner on DoorDash or Caviar are eligible.

RAC members, known as Restaurant Advisory Council Members, will each serve six-month terms. If you are unable to apply today, we will re-open the application every six months so you will have a chance to apply later!

RAC members, known as Restaurant Advisory Reps, are required to join us for a 3 hour virtual on-boarding session on Thursday July 23, 2020. Reps will also be asked to join monthly meetings via videoconference (about 90 minutes long).

DoorDash will review all applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and make selections based on a variety of factors. We are seeking a diverse, representative group of 12 Businesses to serve on the RAC. As a growing global company, it is important we also ensure that geographic regions and various demographics are represented.
